    Frank Mallinson and Ralph Mawson climbed Troutdale Pinnacle on Black Crag, in Borrowdale, on 4th May 1914.  See photo by Ralph Mawson from that time with the pinnacle at that time.  Mawson had a photographic shop, in Lake Road, in Keswick.  He and Mallinson also made the first ascent of Bowderstone Pinnacle in May 1914.
